Nicki Minaj, who is celebrated her  41 birthday on December, 08, 2023, has delighted by her fan base that took anticipation for the new album  Pink Friday 2 to another level by crafted a digital town Gag City using artificial intelligence.

The Barbie World hitmaker devoted online followers utilized generative artificial intelligence to construct an imaginary city, generating and distributing visuals of urban landscapes imbued with the same pink, dreamlike style showcased in the cover art of her  Pink Friday 2, set to release this Friday.

The journey began in September when Minaj revealed the album's artwork depicting her in a surreal sky train approaching a pink city. 

Both Minaj and her devoted fan base, known as the Barbz, embraced this imagery. 

They started calling the prelude to the album a voyage to Gag City, drawing inspiration from the LGBTQ slang term "gag," signifying being astounded by something.

Towards the end of the previous month, certain enthusiasts began envisioning Gag City through the use of AI, creating visuals of cities with a consistent pink and dreamy aesthetic. 

Gag City marks the pioneering effort where a fanbase utilizes generative AI to garner attention for a project, creating a world that extends beyond the fandom. 

Moreover, the fans have envisioned the architectural landscape of Gag City,"depicting towering structures, amusement parks, and establishments such as Chanel, Urban Decay, and KFC—all adorned in vivid pink hues.

However, certain fans have transformed the city into a glamorous red carpet affair, announcing the arrival of celebrities like Rihanna, Ariana Grande, "Dance Moms" star Abby Lee Miller, and Rosalia.

Notably, several celebrities are embracing the trend, confirming their participation in Gag City, with singer Tyla, rapper Bia, and actress Jackée Harry among those slated to make appearances.

As the release date on Friday rapidly neared, Minaj embraced the AI-generated depictions of Gag City and advised her fans on X to "get ready for landing."
