Julia Stiles reprised her role as Sara from her film 'Save the Last Dance' on 'SNL'
Julia Stiles delighted her fans with a surprise sketch based on her movie Save The Last Dance on Saturday Live Night.
On Saturday, Stiles reprised her role as Sara from her 2001 film Save the Last Dance in a funny performance parody with the SNL cast member Chloe Fineman.
On SNL's Weekend Update, hosted by Colin Jost and Michael Che, Fineman kicked off the segment dressed in a Christmas robe as she presented a "sexy gift idea" for the holidays.
The Babylon actress said about the gift idea, "The perfect holiday gift this year is the dance that Julia Stiles does at the end of the 2001 movie Save the Last Dance."
Afterward, Fineman disrobed her clothes to show an all-black outfit that matched the final performance look of Stiles' character from the movie.
The White Noise star then performed a full dance routine, dubbed as "Street/Ballet," recalling the film's climactic dance.
The host Jost then inquired Fineman, "So does she get into Juilliard…?."
Stiles then entered the scene, saying, "Yes," while wearing an outfit that matched Fineman's and her own slick bun.
As the audience cheered, she then added, "Sara did get into Juilliard."
Jost then asked her, "How?" on which the Hustlers actress said, "Well, you didn’t see the end of the dance," as Fineman shouted, "Hit it!"
The two then sat on chairs and performed a synchronized last segment of their Save the Last Dance performance, concluding with a fist bump.
Fineman inquired of Jost, "OK, so Colin, what did you think?" on which the 41-year-old host responded, saying, "Well I can’t say this on the record yet but welcome to Juliard!."
