King Charles and Queen Camilla, accompanied by Princess Anne and Sir Timothy Laurence, graced the Sandringham estate for a Christmas Eve church service.

The monarch, donned in a vintage tweed coat, warmly acknowledged well-wishers with a cheery wave as they approached St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham.

The royal entourage drew the attention of the gathered crowd, with onlookers capturing the moment on their phones.

Queen Camilla, clad in a cozy wool coat and a stylish black feathered hat, followed behind, engaging with families who had gathered to greet the royals.

Princess Anne, adorned in a festive red ensemble, exchanged words with her sister-in-law as they strolled through rural Norfolk.

King Charles, known for his favorite tweed coat, exuded good spirits as he made his way to the church, flanked by Sir Timothy Laurence.

The royals are expected to make a second visit for a special service at St Mary Magdalene Church on Christmas day, a historic site visited by Queen Victoria dating back to the 16th century.

This year's Christmas celebration at Sandringham House promises to be unique, with an altered guest list welcoming Queen Camilla's side of the family.

Buckingham Palace confirmed that King Charles, along with the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children, is set to spend Christmas day and New Year at Sandringham, continuing the royal tradition on the Norfolk estate.

The estate, covering 20,000 acres, holds historical significance, having been acquired just before the marriage of Edward VII and Alexandra of Denmark.
