Jeremy Renner got injured when a heavy 14,300-pound snowplow accidentally ran over him at his home
Jeremy Renner has confirmed that he is returning to acting after facing a snowplow accident at the start of this year.
Taking to his Instagram story, Renner re-shared a post of his Mayor Of Kingstown co-star Emma Laird, which hinted that they would be working together again in the new year for season 3.
The post showed a picture of Laird and The Avengers star, possibly on set, with the caption, "It's happening" and "Back with my favorite guy next week."
As per the official summary from DigitalSpy, the series is about the McLusky family in Kingstown, Michigan, who are influential in the incarceration business, which is the town's main industry, where Renner would be playing the character Mike McLusky, while Laird will be portraying Iris.

Earlier this year, Jeremy Renner got injured when a heavy 14,300-pound snowplow accidentally ran over him at his home in Reno, Nevada.
The accident occurred while the 52-year-old actor was trying to shield his nephew but he got pulled under the machine, which resulted in 30 broken bones.
Later, in his Instagram story, Renner shared that while in the hospital, he was jotting down notes on his phone.
The Wind River actor also wrote, "I have been exploring EVERY type of therapy since Jan 14th ... everyday.”
"Countless hours of physical therapy, peptide injections, IV drips and pushes, stem cell and exosomes, red light / IR therapy, hyperbaric chamber 2.0 atmospheres, cold plunge, and the list goes on and on....," Renner noted.
While discussing his recovery, the actor added, "I've lost a lot of flesh and bone in this experience, but I've been filled with love and titanium."
