Tia Mowry ends 2023 with rare confession about embracing alone time

Tia Mowry has made a rare confessions about embracing alone time as she bid farewell to 2023.

Taking to her Instagram account on Saturday, Mowry shared a post, featuring a video of herself which showed how much she enjoys her  personal time and revealed what the actress does when she's alone at home.

In the clip, the Twitches actress could be seen holding a glass of red wine while dancing and singing on an Alicia Keys' song, using the wine bottle as a microphone.

She also admitted, this year made her realize that being by herself is a chance to recharge and how being alone can be good for healing.

The 45-year-old actress made the confession in the caption, that read, “I have a confession to make: I’ve never been alone. Until now. For the longest time, I’ve found myself in the company of others, as my work and family commitments kept me constantly surrounded by people, and not to mention, I have a twin.”

While talking about how she welcomed being alone in the past year and found something unexpected, Mowry also noted, “Alone time was a rare occurrence growing up. However, over the past year, I deliberately shifted my perspective and embraced moments of solitude. I realized that being alone wasn’t a punishment but rather an opportunity to recharge.”

“Through conscious effort, I transformed these moments into a crucial aspect of maintaining my well-being. This shift allowed me to recognize the value of solitude in refreshing my mind and spirit,” she added.

The Sister, Sister star concluded the confession, writing, “ Now, when I am in the presence of my loved ones, I can fully be present with them, knowing that I have taken the time to rejuvenate myself.”
