King Charles and Queen Camilla's New Year plans revealed
Prince William and Kate Middleton, have joined King Charles and Queen Camilla in past celebrations

King Charles III and Queen Camilla are gearing up to welcome 2024 with their beloved New Year's tradition at the enchanting Scottish retreat of Birkhall.
Dating back to 2004, this tradition began with a romantic proposal when Prince Charles asked for Camilla's hand in marriage during a stay at Birkhall.
This year marks the 19th consecutive New Year's celebration for the royal couple in Birkhall.
Following a festive Christmas feast with other members of the Royal Family at Sandringham, King Charles will lead the way to the enchanting Scottish Highlands.
Departing from the more formal customs of his predecessors, King Charles is opting for an informal and relaxed celebration at Birkhall.
Notable family members, including Prince William and Kate Middleton, have joined the couple in past celebrations.

The reports hint at a night filled with festivity, as King Charles is expected to "pull out all the stops for his party."
According to reports King Charles shared earlier, "At Balmoral there's a lot of dancing, and at Birkhall there's a lot of drinking."
The celebration, known for its exclusive guest list and ban on fireworks to protect resident ducks, promises to be a memorable continuation of the royal couple's enduring New Year's tradition.
