Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta's daughter Ira Khan, who is all set to tie the knot on January 3 with Nupur Shikhare, wedding festivities have begun in full swing.

The couple's pre-wedding Haldi ceremony is taking place on Tuesday, with Ira's mother, Reena Dutta, already present for the significant occasion.

Kiran Rao, Aamir Khan's former wife, was also captured by paparazzi arriving stylishly to join the Haldi celebrations for Ira and Nupur.

News is circulating extensively that Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare are opting for a Maharashtrian wedding.

Recently, both former wives of Aamir Khaan graced the Haldi ceremony, looking stunning in traditional nauvari sarees.

Dutta, elegantly wore a dark green saree adorned with a golden border, complemented by a red blouse.

Adorned with a golden necklace and coordinating bangles, she carried a basket on her way to join Ira and Nupur's haldi ceremonies.

She posed alongside the soon-to-be groom, Nupur, who donned a red kurta paired with white pyjamas. In the photographs, Nupur's mother, Pritam Shikhare, was also captured posing alongside them.

Rao also donned a purple and blue nauvari saree with a golden border. She wore a simple golden necklace, and matching bangles, and adorned her hair with gajra for Ira and Nupur's Haldi.

Several visuals from the Dangal star and Dutta's Mumbai houses have surfaced online as they decked up the space with decorations and lights.

In a shared video by Bollytadka24, Aamir's residence showcasing two levels adorned with enchanting fairy lights, creating a picturesque setting.

Dutta, his first wife's home, is also embellished with flowers and lights, setting the scene for pre-wedding celebrations as both families come together.

For the unversed, as per a report by News18, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare's wedding is scheduled for January 3 at Taj Lands End Hotel in Bandra.

The ceremony is expected to follow a Marathi-style theme, paying homage to the groom's cultural background.

Confirming the wedding date in October of the previous year, Aamir Khan announced that Ira Khan's union with Nupur is set to take place on January 3, 2024.
