The couple, who have been quietly dating for almost a year, recently moved in together to prepare for their upcoming parenthood.

The revelation adds a unique twist to their love story, as Emily's mother, Kate Robbins, is the sister of Alistair's stepmother, Jane Garner.

The duo has known each other for nearly three decades, introduced when Emily's aunt started dating Alistair's father in the early '90s.

The actress expressed her delight at expecting a baby, "I’m delighted to share with you all that we’re having a baby!! I’ve never been so happy and utterly terrified at the same time."


Humorously comparing her experience to a rollercoaster ride after a night out, Atack shared her journey of getting to know her body on a profound level.

"I’ve got to know my body on such an insane level. It’s made me appreciate the one I’ve been given SO much, I’m doing my absolute best to make it a home for the little squid I’m growing."

The news of Emily's pregnancy has been met with excitement and support from their families and friends.
