Britney Spears plans ‘new album’ despite 'never return to the music industry' claims?

Britney Spears has recently made headlines as insiders reveal efforts by music executives to rekindle her enthusiasm for creating a new album.

The insider disclosed to Rolling Stone, “Right now, management and A&R are trying to get her excited for the music,” adding, “As of right now, she's not actively in recording but they're getting [songs] done to present to her.”

They further emphasized that there are no firm or definite plans for the Toxic crooner to create a new album.

This clarification comes in response to Britney Spears' declaration on Wednesday, where she firmly stated that she has no intention of ever returning to the music industry.

On Instagram, she vehemently refuted two reports claiming that she is presently in the process of creating her tenth album.

Additionally, she dismissed the assertion that she had engaged Julia Michaels and Charli XCX as songwriters for this supposed new project.

“Just so we're clear most of the news is trash!” Spears mentioned on Wednesday, addressing reports that suggested she was “turning to random people to do a new album.”

She added,  "I will never return to the music industry !!! When I write, I write for fun or I write for other people !!!”

The Circus crooner shared, “For those of you who have read my book, there’s loads that you don’t know about me … I’ve written over 20 songs for other people the past two years !!! I’m a ghostwriter and I honestly enjoy it that way !!!”

“People are also saying MY BOOK WAS RELEASED WITHOUT MY APPROVAL ILLEGALLY and that’s far from the truth … have you read the news these days ??? I’m so LOVED and blessed !!!” Spears concluded.

The Grammy winner appeared to allude to information from The US Sun and Page Six, proposing that she had initiated the process of creating a new album.

This would have marked her first musical project in eight years.

Responding to the news, the source revealed, “The hype around this is that everyone wants her to make music again, but I don't know if she's there yet.”

According to the music news source, insiders revealed that executives have brought on Julia Michaels and Charli XCX as songwriters to create material for Britney Spears.
