Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet revealed their sepration in October 7, 2020

Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet have officially parted ways after ending their 7-year marriage.
As per court records obtained by PEOPLE, Bonet has submitted a petition for the termination of marriage, indicating their separation date as October 7, 2020.
The doucoment stated that the grounds of ending the marriage were "irreconcilable differences".
Further, Bonet, 56, requested shared custody of their children and no spousal support for either party.
When they revealed their separation two years ago, the former duo conveyed in a statement,"We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring."
The 44-year-old actor and the Angel Heart star shared at that time,"And so," , "we share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage."
Momoa and Bonet reavealed that they weren't explaining, "because we think it's newsworthy but so that as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty."

They said,"The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other to be who we are learning to become," adding, "Our devotion unwavering to this sacred life our children. Teaching our children what's possible. Living the Prayer. May Love Prevail."
The Aquaman star initially encountered his future spouse at a jazz club in 2005, and two years later, the couple celebrated the arrival of their first child.
Momoa and Bonet secretly tied the knot in 2017, and the couple share two kids, daughter Lola, 16, and son Nakoa-Wolf, 15.
While, Bonet is also mom to actress Zoë Kravitz with ex-husband Lenny Kravitz.
According to a source speaking to PEOPLE, the choice to separate wasn't sudden; instead, the couple was "incredible for years until things changed."
