Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni heated up the set of their upcoming film, It Ends with Us, as they shared a passionate kiss while filming in Jersey City, New Jersey.

The co-stars, embodying the characters Lily Bloom and Ryle Kincaid, brought their on-screen chemistry to life in a romantic scene captured on Friday evening.

The photos shared by PEOPLE, Blake Lively in character as Lily Bloom, sported vibrant red hair and donned a stylish ensemble, featuring an oversized-sleeved shirt, a long skirt, and fashionable boots.

Justin Baldoni took on the role of Ryle Kincaid, dressed in a black sweater, dark pants, and dress shoes.

Adapted from Colleen Hoover's 2016 novel, the film revolves around Lily's post-college journey to a new city, where she finds love with Ryle.

However, their blissful romance takes a tumultuous turn when Lily's past lover resurfaces, throwing her world into chaos.

Jenny Slate joins the cast as Ryle's sister, with Brandon Sklenar portraying Lily's first love, Atlas Corrigan.

Directed by Justin Baldoni, renowned for his role in Jane the Virgin, and executive produced by Blake Lively, It Ends with Us is highly anticipated among fans of the novel.

Originally set for a February 9, 2024 release, the film's premiere has been rescheduled for June 21, 2024.

Blake Lively began her acting journey at age 10 in the film Sandman (1998), directed by her father.

She gained early recognition as Bridget Vreeland in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005), leading to a Teen Choice Award nomination. 

However, the Gossip Girl (2007–2012) marked her television breakthrough.

Transitioning to films, Lively showcased her versatility in The Town (2010), Green Lantern (2011).
