Justin Timberlake announced upcoming world tour on 'The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon'

Justin Timberlake is all set to surprise his fans globally by embarking on a world tour this year, after the release of his highly anticipated album, Everything I Thought It Was, on March 15, 2024.

During his appearance on Thursday's episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Justin revealed that he will be embarking on The Forget Tomorrow World Tour.

“Do you have something to announce?” Jimmy candid asked Justin during their conversation, to which he responded,  “No, I don’t have anything to announce. We’re announcing it [the album].”

Fallon didn't hold back from pressing the Better Place singer, as he said, "No, no, no, no. How about a little something extra? … There could be something that the audience might want to hear if you said the right thing."

The Tonight Show host continued, "That people watching at home, they could go to justintimberlake.com and get something if they wanted something. Is there something you would like to announce?"

After Fallon was done insisting, the SexyBack crooner replied, “What is happening right now?”

To which Fallon responded by jokingly showing him a note card.

 “Oh, that. … I’m going on tour,” said Justin with audience screaming with joy as he announce the news.

When will Justin Timberlake kick off The Forget Tomorrow World Tour?

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Justin Timberlake will kick off his tour on April 29, 2024, in Vancouver, Canada.

The tour stops will include  Seattle,  Miami, Florida, Washington; Phoenix, Arizona; Fort Worth, Texas; Raleigh, North Carolina.

Moreover, the tickets for The Forget Tomorrow World Tour will go on live sale on February 2, 2024.

After Fallon listed some of the dates, Timberlake joked, “Wow, that’s a lot of dates.”

The announcement comes shortly after the Bye Bye Bye singer released new single, Selfish,  on January 25, 2024,  which is lead solo of Everything I thought It Was.

Justin Timberlake dishes details on his forthcoming album:

Timberlake in his appearance at the late night show revealed that he initially wrote 100 songs for his album on which he has been working since 2018. However, he cut it down to 18 songs only.

“Making this album is different from any other one. … Different from making albums before because I would just go in for a block of time, and say this is what we made and this is what it is,” he said. 

He continued, “I was going back and forth. Two weeks writing, coming back for a month, and just what we call writer camps where I would work with different songwriters, work with different producers, people that I’ve worked with before, people that I’ve never worked with before.”
