Ariana Grande wraps filming on 'Wicked' with gratitude: 'permanently intertwined'

Ariana Grande wrapped up filming on, Wicked, which is a film adaptation of the Broadway musical, with gratitude.
The Thank U, Next singer took to her official Instagram story on January 25, 2024, to reveal that she had officially wrapped up filming on Wicked, further noting that it was a really memorable experience for her.
Grande reposted a message from the musical adaptation’s director, Jon M. Chu that read, “Will never forget my year with our Galinda. Can’t wait for you to meet her. Thank you @arianagrande for pouring your heart into Oz.”
She responded with an emotional note to the post. The Side to Side crooner penned, “I will never forget even a minute of my year(s) with her either. Or you. Or my Cyn [Cynthia Erivo]. Permanently and preferably intertwined. I am so inexplicably thankful that we got to add so many soggy eyelashes to the collection @jonmchu.”
Expressing her gratitude, she further wrote, “There aren’t words quite yet. But. Thank you, Jon, for leading the way with such compassion, openness, brilliance and kindness. I have never seen someone conduct a space the way you do. I love you so much.”

Ariana Grande portrays the character, Glinda, alongside Erivo’s Elphaba, in the highly-anticipated Broadway adaptation, Wicked.
The film will be made into two parts and also stars Michelle Yeoh, Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Jeff Goldblum, Marissa Bode, Keala Settle, Bronwyn James, Adam James and Bowen Yang.
The yes, and? singer later wished Chu “an incredible beautiful last day [filming] tomorrow.”
It is safe to say that the upcoming movie has officially come altogether on Friday, January 26, 2024, as Chu wrote, “One more day left! @cynthiaerico are you ready?” on his official Instagram story.
“As ready as I’ll ever be!! Let’s goooooo!!!” Erivo said in his response.
