About 'American Dream: The 21 Savage Story':

American Dream: The 21 Savage Story was actually a promotion of the Rockstar rapper’s album titled, American Dream, which was his first solo release since his 2018 album I Am > I Was.
The supposed biopic gave a glimpse into core memories of Savage’s upbringing, such as being bullied during his school-age years.
It also gave insights into when he was controversially arrested by ICE and was held in an immigration detention center for 10 days back in 2019.
21 Savage was detained over a visa that expired in 2006, after he and his mother moved to the U.S. from the U.K. during his childhood.
In October 2023, he became a "lawful permanent resident," and was allowed to legally travel outside of the U.S.
