Laura Dern shared heartfelt insights into her deep friendship with Taylor Swift at the Environmental Media Association Awards Gala.
As per PEOPLE report, Dern, who features in Swift's Bejeweled music video, described Swift as someone who cares about everything deeply, expressing admiration for her writing, heart, and activism.
She said, "She cares about everything deeply, and I think people who love her know that."
The Son actress emphasized that Swift's fans, as well as her friends, recognize her passion.
"They know that in her writing and they know that in her heart and her activism — but it's been incredible to know that as a friend too," Laura added.
Dern, acknowledging her fondness for the Cruel Summer singer, mentioned the joy of knowing Swift on a personal level.
Despite being close to Swift, the Jurassic Park actress remained diplomatic when asked about supporting the Kansas City Chiefs in a game connected to Swift's boyfriend.
"Oh, it's a complicated answer. I don't have an answer, I may have reasons to root for everyone," she shared.

In the Bejeweled video, a unique take on Cinderella's story, the Marriage Story actress portrays the villainous stepmother, showcasing her versatility in Swift's artistic endeavors.
The Love Story singer had previously shared the amusing story of convincing Dern to play the role, incorporating a one-page script that included playful banter between them.
