Jeremy Renner shared his go-to breakfast, a favorite for his 10-year-old daughter, Ava, whom he shares with ex-wife Sonni Pacheco.
During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE magazine, on the set of his upcoming campaign, Renner talked about the one breakfast meal he enjoys preparing for Ava Berlin.
The Avengers actor said, "She's a waffle girl. She definitely is into her waffles, that's mostly what she'll eat in the morning."
When asked if Ava might ever add toppings like chocolate chips to her waffles, Renner told, "Maybe sometimes. Not all the time. Once in a while, on the weekends with her cousins."
Earlier this month, the Hawkeye star shared his affection for his daughter Ava in and Instagram post, in which he referred to her as the main reason for his recovery after the difficult experience.
Along with a heartwarming picture of the father-daughter duo, Renner wrote, "Reason number One for my recovery is her. I asked her to “wait for me” when I first saw her January 14 as I arrived home. As I got better, she got better, less afraid."
The 53-year-old actor further noted, "There is simply no better motivator to recover than to heal your family and friends…. With gratitude always , thank you all for your love and support this last full year. I needed every ounce of goodwill and prayer."
"Hope you enjoy the video we made from the “Love and Titanium” EP set to release Jan 19th #loveandtitanium," he concluded.
Jeremy Renner's mixed feelings on returning to 'Mayor of Kingstown' filming:
Previously, Renner also expressed feeling "a little bit scared" and "excited as he returned to the sets of Mayor of Kingstown after his horrific snow plow accident, resulting in 30 broken bones.
In an interview with the same outlet, he said, "I don't know if I'm looking forward to it. Again, I try to just do everything kind of step by step here. That's one foot in front of the other one. Then you're walking."
"I think I'm excited when I'm there and I get in a rhythm there. I'm excited about the character and, of course, all the people involved and all that in the storyline, but for me, I'm just tentative of confidence in work," Renner added.
After recovering from injuries, the Wind River actor returned to the set on January 10, 2024 for the first time.
