Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman were spotted filming the final scenes for the highly-anticipated Deadpool 3 in England on January 22.

As per PEOPLE report, Reynolds, reprising his role as the irreverent antihero Deadpool, sported the character's iconic scarred face with the help of prosthetics.

The actors' character got his signature facial scars from a risky cancer treatment in the first movie of the series.

Meanwhile, Jackman, who plays Wolverine, donned the yellow suit emblematic of his character.

The stars wrapped up the filming of Deadpool 3 last week, with the movie set to hit theaters on July 26.

Reynolds marked the end of this chapter by sharing a cheeky photo on Instagram, featuring a close-up of his Deadpool costume-clad crotch.

The actor expressed gratitude to the cast and crew, acknowledging the challenges faced during production.


"The suit hides blood. Also sweat… But today, with Deadpool wrapping, it’s mostly tears. A giant and forever thanks to the cast and crew of our film who battled wind, rain, strikes and @thehughjackman… all under the stalwart leadership of @slevydirect" he wrote.

He further added, "I got to make a movie with my closest pals and that doesn’t happen very often. See ya July 26th…"

Hugh Jackman shared heartfelt note as wrapped filming 'Deadpool 3':

Jackman also bid farewell to the movie with a heartfelt message and a video of himself having Wolverine's signature sideburns shaved off.

He thanked the entire cast and crew, singling out Reynolds and director Shawn Levy as his "best mates" who played crucial roles in making the film a reality.


He wrote, "What a ride! I’ve loved every minute of making this movie. Well … not the 4a training or the steamed fish and veg 4 x a day for 6 months but the other 93.2%. A collective thank you to the entire cast and crew."

"You are all aces! If you’re reading this and think I mean you, I do. To two of my best mates @vancityreynolds and @slevydirect I literally couldn’t have done this without you. LITERALLY! July 26th can’t come soon enough. Time to shave," he added.
