King Charles left the London Clinic private hospital waving to cameras before getting into their car.

The monarch spent three nights at the hospital after having procedure for enlarged prostrate.

On Instagram royal family shared photo of King leaving alongside Queen Camilla from the hospital along with a 'Thank you' note for well-wishers.


The caption read, "Thank you to all those who have sent their good wishes during The King’s hospital stay."

It further read, "His Majesty is delighted that his diagnosis is having a positive impact on public health awareness."

The King had a "corrective procedure" for a non-cancerous prostate issue, which is common in older men. His decision to share the news is aimed at encouraging other men to get prostate checks.

Earlier, Buckingham Palace shared that the King would reschedule his public engagements for some private time to recover.

On the other hand, Kate Middleton who was undergoing recovery for abdominal surgery was admitted in the same hospital.

The royal health updates continue as Princess Kate left the hospital after 13 nights following her undisclosed surgery.

While the exact nature of the surgery hasn't been revealed, it's serious enough for her to need several months of recovery.

Kensington Palace mentioned she would continue her recovery at home in Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, reuniting with her children and husband, Prince William.
