David Lee Roth has made many of his problems with former bandmate Wolfgang Van Halen public by venting out on a five-minute video uploaded on his YouTube profile.

Originally titled “This F*ckin’ Kid,” the clip was published on January 24, and has now been renamed to “This Crazy Kid,” according to People.

Roth was the lead vocalist and founding partner of the heavy rock band Van Halen. Wolfgang, who is the son of actress Valerie Bertinelli and late Eddie Van Halen, continued as a bassist for the same band after his father passed away.

Expressing contempt for stars benefitting from nepotism, the rant begins by a man impersonating Wolfgang. He says, “Bro, I want people to know I got this job because of my talent. I would have this job anyway, even if my dad wasn’t God.”

Then, Roth himself starts ridiculing the bassist for allegedly kicking people out of concerts and “complaining the entire tour like I’m not paying enough attention.”

According to him, Wolfgang kept whining about not receiving proper care from the vocalist, even though the latter insists that he was giving his best, even when in front of a huge audience.

While Wolfgang hasn’t responded to this lament, some commentators have spoken on his behalf. One stated, “It sounds annoying, but keep in mind that he was 16 years old back then. And still a kid when the final tour took place in 2015.”

Many fans suggest that this video is “Roth taking the heat out on Wolfgang instead” because another one of Van Halen's band members, Sammy Hagar, doesn’t want him included in their upcoming tour, The Best of All Worlds.
