Kelly Clarkson displayed her love for Miley Cyrus and her songs as the talk show host performed her own rendition of Cyrus' 2023 song, Jaded.
On the latest episode of The Kelly Clarkson show which aired on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, Clarkson demonstrated her musical capabilities on her Kellyoke segment.
“I don't wanna call and talk too long / I know it was wrong, but never said I was sorry / Now I've had time to think it over / We're much older and the bone's too big to bury,” the Stronger crooner said before performing her own take of the ballad.
Clarkson rocked a multi-color, color-block dress for her musical gig, as the show’s band played behind her. The studio lights were set to a calming hue of purple.
Shortly after the clip of the performance was uploaded on YouTube, fans flocked to the comment sections to express their love for the cover.
“GIRL. Keep doing your thang. The covers keep getting better and better!” a comment read. While another said, “she absolutely did the song justice! Oh damn.”
Kelly Clarkson’s cover of Jaded is the second time this month that she has performed one of Cyrus’ latest songs.
On January 11, 2024 the Because of You hitmaker performed her take on Cyrus’ song, Used to Be Young during the Kellyoke segment.

Miley Cyrus released Used to Be Young in August 2023, a decade after she launched her number one hit song, Wrecking Ball.
In the song's lyrics, she looks back on her partying days and reflects on how she's changed with time. She even collaborated with her long-time Disney-star and friend, Selena Gomez as the duo promoted their respective new releases.
The Only Murders in the Building actress took to her official Instagram story and wrote a caption that read, “@mileycyrus and I both have a SINGLE SOON and we are releasing on the same day. We have been friends since we USED TO BE YOUNG. Excited for August 25th!”
