He said, "I remember hearing something from my grandmother at a very young age. she said, It's not just that I'm in love with your grandfather, I'm dedicated to your grandfather, because sometimes you don't feel that love, right? So then what do you do."
The 59-year-old songwriter also mentioned that he thinks the couple has something more than just love.
He explained, "It has to be something beyond that love, and that is dedication, so that is something that I see that they have. It's wonderful to welcome him to the family."
In another part of the interview, Lenny also discussed his own life, mentioning that despite gaining new fans with the attractive music video for his single TK421 from the upcoming album Blue Electric Light, he is now concentrating on the broader perspective.
The Chamber vocalist said, "I’ve always been a romantic, and you can still be one even if you’re not with somebody, It’s how you live your life. I’m in love every day. When I wake up, open my eyes and can function love is all around at all times."
