Maya Jama is set to headline the 2024 BRIT Awards alongside co-host Roman Kemp and Clara Amfo.
Maya confirmed her role in January, securing contracts to compere the ceremony scheduled for March 2 at London's O2 Arena.
The decision to opt for three hosts is considered a retro move, echoing the format last seen in 2009 when Kylie Minogue, James Corden, and Mathew Horne shared the stage.
"Getting three people hosting the Brits is really retro but bosses think it’ll go down a storm," an insider shared with The Sun.
The BRIT Awards organizers aim to infuse the show with a fresh and upbeat vibe, hoping the trio will strike a chord with the audience.
Maya, Roman, and Clara, known for their broadcasting prowess, are expected to bring a diverse and dynamic presentation to the music event.
The source added, "Maya, Roman and Clara are all very good broadcasters and the BRITs are in good hands with them at the helm."
Maya Jama, a popular TV and radio personality, has been a hit as the host of Love Island and other shows, earning recognition for her red-carpet reporting at the music awards in 2022.
The ceremony, scheduled for March 2 at London's O2 Arena, will feature other nominated artists like Dua Lipa, J Hus, Blur, Olivia Dean, Dave, Little Simz, Young Fathers, and Mahalia.
