Suits spinoff series Suits: LA pilot episode is all set to kick off production after receiving green signal at NBC on Thursday.

As reported by Variety, the production on the upcoming spinoff will kick off in Vancouver later in March.

The new version of Suits will center on Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, who has made a name for himself in Los Angeles by defending the wealthiest clients.

He has to accept a role that he has disregarded for his whole career in order for his company to survive at this critical moment.

Ted is surrounded by an amazing cast of personalities that constantly blur the lines between their personal and professional lives, testing their allegiance to Ted as well as to one another. While all of this is happening, the circumstances that prompted Ted to leave everything and everyone he loved behind are gradually coming to light.
