Quentin Tarantino and Brad Pitt are all set to join forces for one last time for Tarantino’s last film, The Movie Critic.
As reported by Deadline, the Hollywood heartthrob, and the acclaimed director are gearing to reunite for the third time for their upcoming venture, expected to release in 2025.
The Movie Critic is said to be produced by Stacey Sher under the banner of Sonny Pictures, however it is still unclear if Pitt will be playing the titular role.
While Tarantino has been secretive about his career’s film, he did share a little piece of intimate details with the outlet in May during the screening of Rolling Thunder, at the Cannes Film festival.
At the time, Tarantino revealed that The Movie Critic, set in 1977 in California, "is based on a guy who really lived but was never really famous, and he used to write movie reviews for a porno rag."
The forthcoming project of the Once Upon A Time in Hollywood director is inspired by his job as teenager, which required loading porn magazines into a vending machine and emptying quarters out of the cash dispenser.
“All the other stuff was too skanky to read, but then there was this porno rag that had a really interesting movie page,” he told the outlet at that time.
To note, the Fight Club actor, who is collaborating with Quentin Tarantino for the third time, won the Oscar in 2019, for Best Supporting Actor in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
He also played the leading role in director’s hit film, Inglorious Bastards, released in July 2009.
