Prince Charles cancer diagnosis:

They issued a statement on their social media platforms, announcing that “a form of cancer” had been detected during the king’s surgical procedure for his benign enlarged prostate.

Shortly after the news, Charles left the royal estate in Sandringham to return to London, where he will immediately begin treatment, according to the outlet.
However, the statement also said that Charles would continue “to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual.”
Even though the cancer was identified during the monarch’s operation for a prostate enlargement, many sources claim that Charles was not diagnosed with prostate cancer.
“The king is grateful to his medical team for their swift intervention, which was made possible thanks to his recent hospital procedure. He remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible,” the palace’s statement further read.
“His Majesty has chosen to share his diagnosis to prevent speculation and in the hope it may assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer,” the announcement concluded.
