King Charles has defiantly declared his commitment to carrying on with his usual duties despite cancer diagnosis.

As per Mirror report, the monarch's steadfast resolve to maintain 'business as usual' comes just weeks after undergoing a prostate procedure.

The news of King Charles's cancer diagnosis was made public as he expressed a desire to contribute to a better understanding of cancer globally.

Notably, according to reports Queen Camilla will take on additional public duties during his treatment.

Though the specific type of cancer remains undisclosed, reports suggest that the King has remained positive and active, with insiders noting that he appears to be in good spirits.

According to Mirror, Mail reported that early detection of the condition has provided an optimistic outlook, and both King Charles and his doctors are reportedly optimistic about the advanced and sophisticated treatments available.

“From what I know he is up and about as usual and he is so positive that you wouldn't know he even had a condition. Luckily it has, as far as anyone can tell, been caught very early,” the outlet shared.

It further added, “in terms of the treatment he is getting, the treatment for all cancers have come on in leaps and bounds in recent years. The specialist ones they conduct now are incredibly sophisticated. He and his doctors are very, very positive.”

Prince Harry, having spoken with King Charles about the diagnosis, is expected to travel to the UK in the coming days to offer support.

According to Hyper Bazar report, “the duke did speak with his father about his diagnosis. He will be traveling to the U.K. to see His Majesty in the coming days.”
