Ariana Grande became the first female artist on Spotify to have 14 songs cross one billion streams
Ariana Grande achieved a milestone as 14 of her songs hit a billion streams on Spotify making her the only female artist in the platform's history to do so.
The 7 Rings singer took to her official Instagram to upload a video of her showcasing the 14 plaques she received from Spotify, celebrating each of her songs that reached up to or more than a billion streams.
Her 14 songs to cross a billion streams on Spotify are: One Last Time, Bang Bang!, Santa Tell Me, Dangerous Woman, Side to Side, Into You, No Tears Left To Cry, God Is A Woman, Thank U, Next, 7 Rings, Stuck With U, Rain On Me, Positions and Save Your Tears.
Grande penned a lengthy caption expressing her gratitude to the platform, “thank you so much @spotify for this incredible honor and celebration ! filming this little episode was such a sweet little commemoration and gratitude meltdown, if you will !!!!!”
As the Thank U, Next crooner could be seen getting emotional in the video, she continued, “i wasn’t expecting to get emotional but it really, truly hit me! so much of my life has been spent doing this, with and for you all. so many little pieces of my life are stowed away all snug in these little, silly songs forever… my fans have made this just the most special and surreal journey imaginable.”

“and although it isn’t why we do this, i must acknowledge that these numbers are something i’ll never really be able to wrap my head around. truly. you have always made it feel safe and beautiful to be here and to be me,” Grande’s caption further read as she explained how crossing a billion streams was a huge milestone for her.
Finally, she appreciated her fans in the caption for their support, “you aren’t just listeners but you are people that i feel so held by and appreciate deeply. the most special part of all is experiencing so much beautiful human connection (this is a lot / too much / sorry)..”
