Terry Crews shared how he felt about being part of host Trevor Noah's joke about Taylor Swift at the 2024 Grammys.

On Sunday, at 2024 Grammy Awards Trevor Noah poked fun at Taylor Swift's popularity during NFL games.

The host humorously directed camera towards former football player Terry Crews, suggesting that whenever the Blank Space singer's name was mentioned, they should cut to someone associated with football.

As per PEOPLE's report, despite the unexpected spotlight, Crews took it all in stride, describing the experience as an honor.

The Brooklyn Nine-Nine star actor said, “Believe you me, it was the shock of my life. First of all, you don't want to mess up. I don't want to spill a drink on Beyoncé... I'm like don't step on Babyface's toes, please!”

However, he quickly embraced the moment and commended Noah's hosting skills.

He further added, “all I want to do is just enjoy the show and not mess up. Then Trevor puts me on blast in front of billions of people, but it was an honor.”

On the other hand, Crews suggested that Noah could potentially host the Oscars in the future, given his stellar performance at the Grammys.

"Trevor didn't insult anybody, he was the perfect host. I see him hosting the Oscars really soon. I think that that's the next step for him 'cause he is killing it as a Grammys host, he's amazing!" he shared.

Terry Crews shared his experience at 2024 Grammy Awards:

Crews thoroughly enjoyed the performances at the Grammys, particularly highlighting artists like Tracy Chapman, Billy Joel, and Annie Lennox.

He described the event as one of the best he had attended in years, praising the talent and entertainment on display.

The Everybody Hates Chris actor said, “It was insane! Probably the best show I've been to in 10 years.”
