Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton remained in perfect synchronization with their latest single, Purple Irises, released on Friday, February 9, 2024.
The newly released song revolves around the theme of love and seemingly reflects on the No Doubt band rocker and her husband’s relationship.
"But if someone comes along and tries to / Love you like I do / Don't know what I'd do / Don't want to lose you," Stefani sings.
The lyrics further continue, "No, I never knew a love like this. Now we're picking / Purple irises."
Stefani and Shelton are expected to perform a live debut version of the song, this weekend, at the Super Bowl LVIII TikTok Tailgate event, to be held in Las Vegas.

This is also not the first time Stefani and the Home hit-maker have partnered up creatively.
They have released hit duets including Nobody But You in 2021 and the holiday musical You Make It Feel Like Christmas in 2017.
Speaking of her relationship last year, Stefani told PEOPLE magazine, "He's changed my life ... when I [started dating] Blake, that's when I felt home, like, 'Oh, this is where I'm supposed to be, with this guy.”
Additionally, in last month’s interview to the same outlet, Stefani said, “It just happened so fast, and that's my favorite kind of thing to happen. We haven't really figured out the next steps of how we're going to do this, but we're just all so excited.”
"And I think really just watching the internet blow up [with] how excited that the fans are? It's inspiring us," she further added.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton tied the knot in 2021 after they first connected as coaches on The Voice in 2015. The couple has now been happily married for more than three years.
