David Beckham celebrated a special moment as he collected his very first egg from the chickens gifted to him by his wife Victoria Beckham for Christmas.

Sharing the excitement on Instagram on Friday, the former football star posted a video capturing the egg-collecting moment.

In the video, Beckham expressed his excitement, saying, “I've come to check if there's any eggs because I haven't actually been here to see and witness the first egg, so I'm back now and let's have a look.”

He had spent hours researching how to encourage his hens to lay eggs and was thrilled to finally find one.

Beckham wrote in the caption, “I mean the excitement of finding eggs and learning what they need is pretty amazing.”

He humorously added, “@victoriabeckham @brooklynpeltzbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven we have breakfast just might have to share a little also not sure why I’m whispering.”

However, Victoria joined in the fun, jokingly questioning who laid the egg in comments section,

Victoria also shared a photo of David reading 'keeping chickens for dummies,' highlighting the couple's commitment to learning about their new pets.
