Ozzy Osbourne slams Kanye West using 'War Pigs' clip for latest song
Ozzy Osbourne protested against Kanye West using one of his musical clips without permission
Ozzy Osbourne called out Kanye West for sampling his music without approval in his latest track, Talking/Once Again.
The 75-year-old rock star took to his official Instagram account to raise his concerns against the alleged sampling of his song.
For context, West used a snippet of the live performance on War Pigs by the rock band, Black Sabbath, in his song.
On Friday, February 9, 2024, Osbourne announced his concern in both the caption and a screenshot of the text that read: “@KAYNEWEST ASKED PERMISSION TO SAMPLE A [SECTION] OF A 1983 LIVE PERFORMANCE OF ‘WAR PIG’ FROM THE US FESTIVAL WITHOUT VOCALS.”
The singer continued, “REFUSED PERMISSION BECAUSE HE IS AN ANTISEMITE AND HAS CAUSED UNTOLD HEARTACHE TO MANY."
“HE WENT AHEAD AND USED THE SAMPLE ANYWAY AT HIS ALBUM LISTENING PARTY LAST NIGHT,” the post further stated.

“I WANT NO ASSOCIATION WITH THIS MAN!” Osbourne concluded.
Osbourne’s claims against the rapper and his controversial antisemitism stem from West’s bullying and comments from previous years.
According to NBC News, back in October 2022, Kanye West, now going by the name Ye, uploaded a now-deleted Instagram post where he shared a screenshot of a text exchange between himself and Diddy.
West’s screenshots allegedly claimed that Combs was being controlled by the Jewish community alongside the caption, "Jesus is Jew.”
In another news broken by The Hollywood Reporter, in a now-deleted message, West wrote that he was going to go "death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE."
Talking / Once Again, which is a collaboration with rapper Ty Dolla $ign, and features Kanye West’s elder daughter, North, has been speculated as a track on his upcoming album Vultures.
