Noah Kahan released the third version of his album Stick Season under the title, Stick Season (Forever) on February 9, 2024 and garnered the praise of his "hero", Gregory Alan Isakov.
Isakov took to his official Instagram account to celebrate the launch of Kahan’s album and the official release of their duet, Paul Revere.
“Paul Revere with @noahkahanmusic is out now! i met Noah when he visited me at the farm last summer. he rolled in and immediately started helping us unload vegetable csa boxes,” his caption began.
Praising the Dial Drunk hit-maker and his talent, the note further read, “i can be a little behind the times, and embarrassingly hadn’t heard much of his music, but we instantly connected creatively and since then i’ve been hooked on his records. he’s an incredible songwriter and a genuine and thoughtful artist.”
“Noah asked me to sit in at his show in Nashville for this beautiful & intricate song—which led to us collaborating on this recording. i loved singing on Paul Revere, and am so pleased to be a part of his Stick Season (Forever) deluxe album,” Isakov’s note concluded.
Shortly after the post was uploaded, Noah Kahan took to the comments section of the post and excitedly wrote, “Will unload boxes full time if it means I can stay in your orbit, Gregory! I know every song of yours by heart, and you put so much of your own into this track. You are my hero!”
The Northern Attitude crooner also reposted Isakov’s note on his Instagram story with the caption, “Tearing up reading this. Thank you @gregoryalanisakov for the tremendous honour of joining me for a song.”
“This was a process that required your valuable time, which you gave, but you also brought so much soul to the record. Every song of yours beats through my music. Also please play Light Year at your shows!!!” Kahan’s note concluded as he expressed his admiration for Isakov.
