Arnold Schwarzenegger discussed how Taylor Swift can enter US politics
Arnold Schwarzenegger discussed how Taylor Swift can enter politics, reflecting on the global fan base of the pop icon.
According to Yahoo! Entertainment the Terminator star thinks that Swift can certainly apply to become the US President.
“Celebrity power is very important when you run for office. I've seen that when I ran for governor, but you have to have the right mind for it ... that all comes out when you do the debates and when you do the interviews,” Schwarzenegger said.
“So I don't know that side of her at all. I just know her (Swift) as being the most extraordinary performer, this very attractive woman, very talented, very, very smart. But I don't know [if the political side] of her exists or if she has any interest in that,” he stated, reflecting on his thoughts for the Folklore album-maker.

The former Governor of California also credited Taylor Swift for bringing about a new kind of audience to the National Football League (NFL) through her attendance in matches to support her boyfriend, the American footballer, Travis Kelce.

Schwarzenegger told the outlet how the blossoming romance between Swift and Kelce brought in considerable viewership to the matches.
"Football itself draws the hugest crowd because it’s the most popular sport. But then to have someone like her (Taylor Swift) be there and watch the game adds another kind of a thing that [attracts] a different audience… especially younger girls are now more into football, they know the rules and all of that stuff, so it’s really amazing,” he said, referring to Taylor Swift’s appearance at the NFL games.
The Lover crooner has attended several NFL games to root for boyfriend, Kelce, marking her first appearance on September 24, 2023.
Taylor Swift has reportedly landed back in United States, after finishing the Japanese Leg of her Eras Tour on Saturday to attend the 2024 Super Bowl, where Kelce’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs would be playing.
