King Charles and Queen Camilla got back to London a few days after his cancer diagnosis.

As reported by PEOPLE on Tuesday, the King and Queen were photographed  while arriving at the Clarence House.

The 75-year-old monarch was sitting in the back seat of his car beside Camilla, when the royal couple was photographed driving to King Charles' official residence.

According to the outlet, King Charles arrived back to London for his ongoing treatment and to meet the staff of the royal palace.

Queen Camilla and King Charles' return to London comes over the heels of their first public outing on Sunday, when they attended a church service at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham, Norfolk.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, Charles also  broke silence on his cancer diagnosis for the first time, in a statement released by Buckingham Palace.

"I would like to express my most heartfelt thanks for the many messages of support and good wishes I have received in recent days," the statement began.

It further added, "As all those who have been affected by cancer will know, such kind thoughts are the greatest comfort and encouragement."

The statement continued, "It is equally heartening to hear how sharing my own diagnosis has helped promote public understanding and shine a light on the work of all those organizations which support cancer patients and their families across the U.K. and wider world."

"My lifelong admiration for their tireless care and dedication is all the greater as a result of my own personal experience," the statement concluded.

King Charles cancer diagnosis was announced publicly on February 5, 2024, a week after his surgery for an enlarged prostate.
