Kelly Rowland walked out of the Today show last minute due to dissatisfaction with her dressing room, leaving co-host Hoda Kotb without a guest.

The 43-year-old singer and actress was scheduled to appear as a guest speaker on the morning show, Today.

However, according to PEOPLE report, just a few moments before starting the show Rowlands exited from the sets, resulting Rita Ora to fill in for her.

“Kelly walked out because she and her team didn't like her dressing room, Rita Ora agreed to fill in at the last minute. Many people at the show, inside and outside of the show, were impressed with how great she was,” an insider revealed.

The outlet shared that the room Rowland requested for was occupied by Jennifer Lopez, as she was at the studio promoting her album, This Is Me… Now and film, This Is Me… Now: a Love Story.

Notably, the Merry Liddle Christmas actress was offered several other options for dressing room, but she decided to leave instead.

On the work front, Rowland, is currently busy promoting her Netflix Mea Culpa, which is scheduled to release on February 23, 2024.

Meanwhile, Rita Ora recently joined as a panelist at the The Masked Singer on its Season 11.
