Jodie Foster talked about a lion incident during a 1972 film shooting
Jodie Foster revealed a frightening encounter she had with a lion on a 1972 film set Napoleon and Samantha.
During her recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Foster told about a scary incident she had during the making of the Napoleon and Samantha in 1972.
The Contact actress told there were three lions on set, the main one, a stunt lion, and a stand-in lion, where the stand-in lion was the one she had the incident with.
Foster said, "We finished a take and I was going up the hill and all I remember is I remember seeing his mane come around and then he picked me up sideways, shook me in his mouth and turned me around."

"Every single person on the crew was running in the opposite direction and I’m like sideways watching everybody — and they took their equipment, too," she added.
The True Detective: Night Country star thought it might be an earthquake because she was shaking.
Foster said, "I’m watching everybody leave going, what’s happening."
"The trainer said, ‘Drop it’ and because the lion was so well-trained, he opened his mouth and dropped me down and I went running," she added..
The 61-year-old actress further explained that the lion "came after," while mentioning that it "put one paw on me and then just waited like I got her."
