America Ferrera opened up about the time she "started weeping" upon meeting Leonardo DiCaprio for the first time.

During her appearance on the Late Night with Seth Meyers on Friday, Ferrera revealed that her husband was "so embarrassed" by her emotional reaction after meeting DiCaprio.

The Ugly Betty star said, "I watched Titanic in the movie theaters seven times. [I was] 13, 14 [years old], prime time to be in love with Leonardo DiCaprio, right? OK, so first time I went to the SAG Awards."

"And I had won for Ugly Betty, I had been onstage and the whole thing, I was feeling kind of like, I belong here, this is cool," she added.

Ferrera also revealed that at the awards show, she greeted the Titanic actor, saying, "hello and then I quickly walked away from him, turned the corner, and just started crying."

Talking about her husband, Ryan Piers Williams's reaction, the Barbie actress said "And my husband, then-boyfriend, was with me and he was like, I am so embarrassed right now," on which he told her to "stop crying."

Ferrera expressed her wish that DiCaprio wouldn't see it, saying, "I hope Leonardo DiCaprio never sees this," while the show host Meyers joked that he "probably won't."
