Kelly Bishop announced the arrival of her memoir, The Third Gilmore Girl.

According to PEOPLE report, the memoir references to Bishop iconic role in the Gilmore Girls.

The Dirty Dancing actress told the outlet, “From my first steps onto a Broadway stage, to the town of Stars Hollow, I am excited to take my fans along with me through the story of my life.”

In the memoir, set to release on September 17th, Bishop will delve into life lessons and provide glimpses from behind the scenes of her work.

However, it will also shed light on the actress' personal life, including her marriages, loss of second husband to cancer, etc.

Bishop gained fame for her portrayal of Emily Gilmore, the grandmother on Gilmore Girls, which aired from 2000 to 2007.

On the other hand, An Unmarried Woman actress reprised her role in Netflix’s Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, and the outlet also shared that she will guest star in Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino’s new show, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

The outlet revealed that editor of the book shared, “Kelly Bishop’s long career in show business includes so many indelible moments and characters, and I’m thrilled to be the one to bring her whole life’s story to her countless fans.”
