Emma Stone has shared her loyalty and admiration for her close friend, Taylor Swift as she expressed that she would never again make fun of the Lover crooner’s achievement.
While conversing with Variety the Poor Things star was questioned about her witty response related to Swift, as she referred to her as “a--hole” backstage at the 2024 Golden Globes in January
Stone added, “I definitely won’t make a joke like that again… because I saw headlines that really pulled it out of context,” adding, “What a dope.”
Earlier in January, at the Golden Globe Awards, when Stone achieved an honour for best film actress in a comedy or musical for Poor Things, Swift was spotted sky-high cheering the La La Land star.
During her backstage conversation with reporters, Stone quipped, “What an a--hole,” adding, “I've known her for almost 20 years. I was very happy she was there and she was also nominated tonight, which was wonderful. And yes, what an a--hole."

For the unversed, the Easy A star and the Anti-Hero crooner shared a friendly bond after they first encountered at the Young Hollywood Awards.
They were spotted together, attending different events, and in the December 2023 New York premiere of Poor Things, Swift came to cheer her friend Stone.
