Taylor Swift surprised fans with the announcement of new edition of The Tortured Poets Department along with an exclusive track The Albatross.
The announcement follows bonus track The Bolter, which was unveiled with new edition of The Tortured Poets Department on February 16, 2024.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, the Blank Space singer shared the exciting announcement with the new cover photos.
In caption, Swift announced, “File Name: The Albatross Pre-order the new edition of The Tortured Poets Department with exclusive bonus track “The Albatross” on my website now”
Taylor Swift announced her upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department, scheduled to release on April 19, while accepting award for best album at 2024 Grammys.
She said, “I want to say thank you to the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way. But I know that the way that the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans”
“So I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I've been keeping from you for the last two years, which is that my brand new album comes out on April 19”

On the other hand, the singer performed her Eras Tour show at Sydney on Friday, in front of an 81,000-strong crowd at Accor Stadium.
Notably, Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce also graced the show cheering from the ground.
