Ariana Grande gets candid about dealing with tabloid scrutiny: ‘leave space for humanness’
Grande is set to release her seventh album 'Eternal Sunshine' next week
Ariana Grande has shared a rare insight on navigating the challenges of fame and the attention of tabloids.
During the appearance on the Zach Sang Show, the 7 Rings songstress said, “We selectively remember that this is what the tabloids do to people, especially women, based on whether or not we like the person.”
Grande went on to say, “We selectively leave space for humanness, for nuance,” adding that readers of tabloids “don’t leave space for that.”
The Everyday songstress also explained that readers should allow space for human emotions and complexities, particularly “for their friends and family,” but that “they turn it off when that aligns with the version of a person that they have in their head that they want to believe is true.”
