Adele who was engaged in a weekly residency in Las Vegas, has created an abuzz on social media as she announced that she’s taking a brief hiatus from the residency tour.

The Hello crooner who recently announced the exciting news of her European shows, which she will be kicking off in the Summe, has now decided to pause the ongoing tour and will resume it on May 18.

Taking to her Instagram account on Tuesday, Adele,35, shared the news with her fans, as she noted, “Sadly I have to take a beat and pause my Vegas residency. I was sick at the

end of the last leg and all the way through my break.”

She further added, “I hadn't quite gotten the chance to get back to full health before shows resumed and now I'm sick again, and unfortunately it's all taken a toll on my voice.”

“And so on Doctors orders I have no choice but to rest thoroughly. The remaining 5 weekends of this leg are being postponed to a later date,” the Skyfall songstress also stated.

While revealing about the postponed dates, she concluded, “We are already working out the details and you will be sent the information asap. The postponed dates are: 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 & 30 March.”


Initially planned for January 2022, Adele's Weekends with Adele residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace but it was postponed due to COVID-19. She rescheduled it for November 2022-March 2023.

Later she also announced another leg of the residency which started between June and November 2023, in October, she extended the residency to June 2024.
