Karol G faced an emergency situation as her private jet was forced to make a sudden landing at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles.

As per PEOPLE report, the incident occurred on Thursday night around 9pm when the pilot reported the presence of smoke in the cockpit during the flight.

The private jet was reportedly carrying 16 passengers, which had taken off from the Hollywood Burbank Airport earlier in the evening.

In the video, captured by the local media outlet ABC7 the Mientras Me Curo del Cora singer can be seen relieved by their safe exit from the aircraft.

Additionally, emergency vehicles from the airport promptly met the jet, ensuring the safety of all on board.

According to the outlet, there were no reports of the injuries and the cause of smoke also remains disclosed.

The Grammy winning artist, known for her hits like Gucci los Paños, China, Tusa and more is currently on her Mañana Será Bonito tour in Latin America.

Despite the private jet incident, the OKI DOKI hitmaker is scheduled to continue her tour with a performance in Guatemala on Friday.
