Taylor Swift shared heartfelt sentiments about her family's connection to Singapore during her recent Eras Tour at the National Stadium.
The You Belong With Me hitmaker kicked off her Singaporean leg of the Eras Tour on March 2.
Before starting her show, the Cruel Summer hitmaker revealed that her mother, Andrea Swift spent her childhood in Singapore.
She said, “My mom actually spent a lot of her childhood with her mom and dad and sister growing up in Singapore.”
Swift further added, “So a lot of the time when we'd come here on tour, my mom would take me and drive me past her old house, where she used to go to school. So I've been hearing about Singapore my whole life.”
Expressing gratitude to her Singaporean fans for their warm welcome, she added, “to get to come here and play a show this big with so many beautiful, generous people who are essentially honoring my family with what you just did with that song, it means the world.”
“I already love you, we're going to have a blast tonight,” she concluded.
The This is Me Trying hitmaker wrapped her Australian leg of the Eras Tour on February 28 in Sydney.
