Shawn Mendes has brought joy among his fans as he announced his next gig date and teased a new album.

The Treat You Better singer expressed his excitement as he shared about his upcoming concert in the post and revealed he’s also been working on some latest music.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Mendes dropped two monochrome photos of himself and announced the date of his highly anticipated gig.

He kicked off the caption, “It’s been a really long time since i last played live and I’m so excited to share that I’ll be headlining Rock In Rio on Sept 22nd.”

The Mercy singer added, “ I’ve missed being on stage and seeing you all in person so much!”

While teasing his upcoming music venture, Mendes shared, “I’ve also been working on a new album and I can’t wait to play these new songs live for you. See you there. eu te amo!!!!”

Soon after he shared the exciting news, the fans couldn’t hold their enthusiasm and flooded the comment section to show their eagerness.
