Sara Ali Khan paid tribute to her mother, Amrita Singh, and Indian patriot Usha Mehta on International Women's Day.

The actress took to Instagram on Friday to post a heartfelt video message, showcasing her expressing her admiration for her mother.

In the video, from her appearance at Radio Mirchi 98.3, Sara acknowledged her mother's strength and motivation, emphasizing the importance of women standing up for themselves and others.

“She is my motivation, she is my whole life and i think that she is very very important to me,” Sara said in the video.

Additionally, the actress honored Usha Mehta, a courageous Indian patriot who dedicated herself to India's independence struggle by running a private radio station.

Praising her bravery, Sara adds in the video, “she gave up every strength of comfort, solace any security that she knew, only for bigger cause in life and i think that's it, just extremely inspirational.”
