Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell made history at the 96th Academy Awards by clinching their second Oscars win, making them the youngest duo to achieve this milestone.
Their latest triumph came in the Best Original Song category for What Was I Made For? from the Barbie film soundtrack.
This victory adds to their already impressive accolades, as they previously won an Oscar for their work on the title track of the 2021 James Bond movie, No Time to Die.

By securing their second Oscar win, Eilish and O'Connell surpassed a long-standing record previously held by Luise Rainer.
During their acceptance speech, Eilish expressed her gratitude to the Academy and reflected on the significance of the song and the movie.
She said, “Thank you so much to the Academy. I just didn’t think this would happen, I was not expecting this. I feel so incredibly lucky and honored.”
“I’m grateful for this song and this movie and the way that it made me feel... this goes out to everyone that was affected by the movie and how incredible it is,” she added.
Additionally, the duo also captivated audiences with a heartfelt performance of their award-winning song, What Was I Made For?
