Mathew Perry's fans were deeply touched as the beloved Friends actor was remembered in heartfelt Oscar tribute.

The actor, known for his role of Chandler Bing in the show, tragically passed away last year due to ‘the acute affects of ketamine.’

His photo appeared in the ceremony’s in memoriam segment alongside other late stars.

The emotional tribute featured a performance of Time to Say Goodbye by Andrea Bocelli and his son Matteo, accompanied by Hans Zimmer.

Perry's absence from the BAFTAs' memoriam list last month had sparked criticism, but the Oscars made sure to honor him.

The poignant performance by Bocelli left many viewers in tears, with some expressing their sadness on social media.
