Lenny Kravitz has garnered a remarkable milestone in his illustrious career by achieving the profound honour of receiving a star on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame.

On Tuesday, the Again singer was honoured with a Hollywood Walk of Fame star at a ceremony.

During an interview with PEOPLE, Kravatiz expressed his emotions on the triumph "It's an incredible honor to be on this street. To be with all of these great people that have done incredible things with their lives is an honor.”

"I never thought about it. Like I said, when I was a kid, I was walking up and down these streets but I was pretty much always thinking about where I was gong to sleep that night," he added.

The Hunger Games star went on to say, “To have it now just feels so surreal and I'm really grateful.”

Zoë Kravitz, his daughter, and Denzel Washington, a longtime friend, stars like Marla Gibbs, Channing Tatum and Verdine White attended the event to show their support to him.

He opened up about the feeling of being surrounded by his loved ones, the Precious star shared, “"It means everything,” adding, "the star is a beautiful thing but if I didn't have the people to share it with, it wouldn't be the same."

Kravitz noted, "To have so many people here that have known me all of my life and who have walked the journey with me is the real gift."
