Robyn Bernard, who played the character of Terry Brock in General Hospital passed away on Tuesday at the age of 64.

As per the reports of Variety, the Betty Blue star’s death was confirmed by Riverside County Sheriff’s Department according to them her body was found in an open field behind a commercial establishment.

However, the cause of death is not revealed yet.

Bernard was born May 26, 1959, in Gladewater, Texas, and was drawn to performance from a young age.

She kicked off her career by singing gospel songs with her younger sister Crystal, who join the cast of the 1990 sitcom Wings.

The Facts of Life star starred as Bernard Robin for her first credited role in Jean-Jacques Beneix’s stylish 1981 French hit Diva.

She also made guest appearances on shows such as Whiz Kids, The Facts of Life, and Simon and Simon.

Bernard got the role in General Hospital in September 1984.

She portrayed the role of feisty Terry Brock, aka Terry O’Connor in a drama series that holds the record for the longest-running American soap opera in production.

The storyline of her character would involve the onset of alcoholism, which severely impacted her music career.

She departed from the show in March 1990 after Terry secured a recording contract and departed from the fictional town of Port Charles.

Bernard is grieved by her sisters Crystal and Scarlett as well as her father Jerry Wayne Bernard.
